UX - Human Centered Design

Thoughtful UX research and design is critical for enhancing UX of web applications, but it also serves an important role in fostering trust and transparency in citizen-facing services by demystifying government
processes and content to make information more accessible to all.

In pursuit of this goal, we create intuitive, responsive, and accessible software through applying a multi-phased Human-Centered Design (HCD) methodology that integrates UX research and design best practices to facilitate continuous iteration with stakeholders and end-users alike. Our UX teams leverage
each phase of our methodology to create a robust cycle for sustained delivery excellence, including Discovery, Research, Prototyping, Build & Test, and Ops & Monitoring. We rely upon data-driven feedback loops that allow our users to be the foundation for all decisions, solve root problems rather than just responding to symptoms, and rapidly validate designs.

Instead of focusing on design standards that center around products or business goals, our HCD methodology focuses on gaining a full understanding of the perspective of the people our designs are for in each step of the process. Our approach fosters greater engagement and satisfaction among users,
leading to increased adoption of digital public services, encouraging greater civic engagement and participation, and ensuring that government agencies can effectively serve a diverse population.
